Student. Yogi. Future Social Entrepreneur.
Katie Abdilla is a Master’s Candidate in the Wayne State School of Social Work. In May of 2015, she graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Journalism. In the future she hopes to get involved in research and political activism, get her yoga teaching certification and work in developing countries. She’s particularly interested in studying the refugee crisis, race relations and urban minority populations.
But enough of that boring stuff. In her spare time, she enjoys writing, yoga, spending time with family and endless hours of Netflix. She’s also freakishly obsessed with Dachshunds and talks way too much for her own good.
